Ankit Gupta is a distinguished entrepreneur and business leader serving as the Joint Managing Director of the Holostik Group, one of the world’s leading providers of anti-counterfeiting, authentication, secure packaging, and phygital brand protection solutions. As a second-generation entrepreneur, he has played a pivotal role in transforming the Holostik Group into a diversified global enterprise with operations spanning anti-counterfeiting technologies, digital authentication, sustainable packaging, chemicals, real estate, and technology-driven supply chain solutions. Under his leadership, the group protects more than 10,000 brands across over 90 countries, helping organizations safeguard products, consumers, and supply chains through innovative security technologies.
A computer science engineer by qualification, Mr. Gupta earned his MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, where he received the prestigious Larry Wolfen Award for Entrepreneurial Spirit. He also completed an exchange program at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM-A) and the Owner/President Management (OPM) Program at Harvard Business School, strengthening his expertise in global business strategy, leadership, and innovation.
Since joining the Holostik Group’s board in 2005, Mr. Gupta has led strategic transformation, innovation, and business diversification. He has spearheaded the development of phygital authentication solutions, combining physical security features with digital technologies such as track-and-trace, product authentication, consumer engagement, and supply chain visibility. He also founded NaturTrust, a sustainability-focused venture manufacturing compostable packaging products, and Utopia Digitech, which delivers digital traceability and brand protection solutions for global enterprises.
Beyond his corporate leadership, Mr. Gupta is an influential voice in the global fight against counterfeiting. He currently serves as the President of the Authentication Solution Providers’ Association (ASPA) and has addressed more than 30 international conferences on authentication, anti-counterfeiting, packaging innovation, and supply-chain security. He actively collaborates with industry, government, and academia to promote stronger product authentication standards, consumer protection, and sustainable business practices.
An entrepreneur at heart, Mr. Gupta has successfully built businesses across diverse sectors, including hospitality, sustainable materials, technology, and chemicals. He previously founded the popular café chain Mocha in Delhi before successfully exiting the venture and has since mentored startups through initiatives such as the AIM Smart City Accelerator Program. His leadership philosophy emphasizes innovation, ethics, sustainability, and long-term value creation.
