Inder Sharma

President – Sales & Marketing

Holostik India Ltd

Mr. Inder Sharma is a seasoned sales and marketing leader with around three decades of professional experience across consumer products, retail, brand management and, most significantly, the authentication and anti-counterfeiting industry. He currently serves as President – Sales & Marketing at Holostik India Ltd., a position in which he is responsible for driving the company’s commercial growth and market engagement across its portfolio of security, authentication, anti-counterfeiting and smart packaging solutions. Holostik’s own leadership page lists him as President Sales & Marketing, while recent industry programmes in 2026 continue to identify him in the same role.

Mr. Sharma’s career reflects a progressive journey through sales, business development and marketing leadership. Before joining Holostik, he held commercial roles with organisations including Luxor Writing Instruments, William Penn, Mattel and Gillette India, beginning his career with Johnson & Johnson in 1996. He joined Holostik in 2014 as Senior General Manager – Sales & Marketing, subsequently became Vice President and was elevated to his current President-level responsibility in 2022. This progression reflects his ability to build markets, develop customer relationships and translate technology-led products into commercially successful solutions.

A defining passion area for Mr. Sharma is the fight against counterfeiting and the protection of brands, consumers and supply chains. At Holostik, he has been a strong advocate for combining sophisticated physical security features with digital technologies such as track-and-trace, QR-based authentication and supply-chain visibility. He has consistently highlighted that anti-counterfeiting is no longer simply a packaging issue but a broader business, consumer-safety and supply-chain challenge. His industry interventions have covered pharmaceuticals, automotive components, FMCG and other sectors in which counterfeit products can damage brand equity, cause financial losses and, in critical cases, threaten consumer safety.

Under his commercial leadership, Holostik has continued to expand its proposition from conventional holograms into integrated authentication and digital solutions. At industry platforms such as Labelexpo, Mr. Sharma has represented the company’s portfolio of nano-optical image OVDs, Optashield, 3D labels, tamper-evident technologies and smart digital solutions, positioning these innovations as tools not only for product protection but also for consumer engagement, traceability and stronger supply-chain intelligence. His recent participation at the CII Automotive Aftermarket Conclave further underlined his advocacy of “phygital” authentication—bringing together physical security features and digital verification to tackle counterfeit automotive parts and strengthen consumer trust.

Mr. Sharma has also been an active voice on the role of digitisation and automation in improving business efficiency. His industry perspectives have emphasised that authentication technologies can generate valuable data across the distribution chain, enabling brand owners to identify unauthorised channels, understand product movement and make better commercial decisions. Holostik has consequently positioned its solutions around the broader concept of “authenticating supply chains, securing lives,” linking brand protection with transparency, traceability and operational resilience.

Academically, available professional records indicate that Mr. Sharma holds an MBA from the Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan, Delhi Kendra, as well as a B.Sc. degree from I.P. Degree College. His career is distinguished less by individual awards than by sustained commercial leadership and deep sector expertise. From traditional sales and marketing roles to leading the market development of advanced authentication technologies, Mr. Inder Sharma has helped position brand protection as an integral part of modern supply-chain strategy, with his work centred on the larger mission of enabling businesses to protect their products, strengthen consumer confidence and build more secure and intelligent supply chains.
