Over the past decade, Kai has played a central role in scaling the business by a factor of twelve, while positioning CHI as the leading ground handling provider by tonnage at Frankfurt Airport for five consecutive years. His approach is pragmatic but forward-looking, especially driving digitalization, increasing performance accountability, and ensuring closer integration across the diverse cargo ecosystem.

Beyond his corporate role, Kai actively contributes to shaping the industry’s future. As a board member of TIACA and lead of the Hub Performance Initiative at Frankfurt Airport, he works across airlines, handlers, freight forwarders, E-commerce and infrastructure partners to address one of air cargo’s biggest challenges: aligning fragmented stakeholders into a system that actually performs end-to-end.
