Mr. Kochat Narendran is a veteran logistics and air-cargo professional with around 35 years of experience across global logistics, freight forwarding, supply-chain management, commercial strategy and business transformation. He currently serves as President of AFCOM Holdings Ltd., the parent company of Afcom Cargo, India’s dedicated cargo airline, where he is responsible for driving the organisation’s commercial strategy, market development and customer relationships. AFCOM’s current corporate disclosures identify him as President, while its recent placement document notes that the company’s sales and marketing function is headed by him and supported by the Chief Commercial Officer.
Mr. Narendran’s career has been defined by his ability to build businesses, develop markets and create sustainable customer relationships across the logistics value chain. His professional journey began in 1985 with BPL-India and subsequently took him into logistics, where he held progressively senior positions with organisations including TNT Express Worldwide, DHL Worldwide Express, Yusen Logistics India and Hindustan Cargo. He has also served as Managing Director of Hindustan Cargo Ltd., COO of Continental Carriers Pvt. Ltd. and CEO of DTDC Nikko International Logistics Pvt. Ltd., giving him broad exposure to express logistics, freight forwarding, international transportation and integrated supply-chain operations.
At AFCOM, his focus has been closely aligned with building a customer-centric and commercially sustainable air-cargo business. He has emphasised that long-term success in logistics must go beyond market share and volumes, with customer satisfaction, operational excellence and the ability to continuously reinvent the business forming the foundation of sustainable growth. His commercial leadership has supported AFCOM’s development as a dedicated freighter operator and its efforts to strengthen connectivity, cargo capacity and service reliability for freight forwarders and shippers.
