At Navi Mumbai International Airport, he has been closely associated with the development of an integrated cargo ecosystem featuring advanced infrastructure, cold-chain capabilities, 24×7 operations, direct airside access and multimodal connectivity. He has also played a visible role in strategic partnerships, including the collaboration between Adani Airports and FedEx to establish a fully automated 300,000-square-foot air-cargo hub at Navi Mumbai, backed by a long-term investment exceeding ₹2,500 crore. The facility is intended to connect India more efficiently with Southeast Asia, West Asia, Europe and the United States and strengthen Navi Mumbai’s position as a major regional logistics gateway.
Mr. Vashistha is equally passionate about using air cargo to unlock economic opportunity beyond established metropolitan markets.
