Raveesh Mohan Vashistha

Chief Cargo Officer

Adani Airport Holdings

Mr. Raveesh Mohan Vashistha is an accomplished aviation, cargo and logistics professional who has built a career around business development, commercial strategy, customer engagement and the creation of high-performance logistics ecosystems. As Chief Cargo Officer at Adani Airport Holdings Ltd., he is playing an important role in shaping the cargo strategy and growth of Adani Airports’ expanding airport network, with a particular focus on building world-class cargo infrastructure, strengthening airline and logistics partnerships, improving operational efficiency and positioning Indian airports as increasingly important gateways for global trade. His professional experience spans more than 18 years across business development and commercial leadership, supported by a strong understanding of ports, logistics and aviation-linked infrastructure.

A defining aspect of Mr. Vashistha’s leadership is his focus on converting airport cargo infrastructure into a strategic enabler of trade and supply-chain growth. Under his current mandate, Adani Airports has been expanding cargo capacity and capabilities across its network, with recent performance demonstrating strong momentum. In May 2026, the network handled 103,379 metric tonnes of cargo, recording 17% year-on-year growth; Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Lucknow airports each achieved record monthly cargo volumes. Mr. Vashistha has credited this performance to the collective efforts of customers, airline partners, customs brokers, freight forwarders, regulators and the wider cargo ecosystem, reflecting his strongly collaborative approach to growth.

His vision extends beyond throughput growth to building future-ready cargo gateways. At Navi Mumbai International Airport, he has been closely associated with the development of an integrated cargo ecosystem featuring advanced infrastructure, cold-chain capabilities, 24×7 operations, direct airside access and multimodal connectivity. He has also played a visible role in strategic partnerships, including the collaboration between Adani Airports and FedEx to establish a fully automated 300,000-square-foot air-cargo hub at Navi Mumbai, backed by a long-term investment exceeding ₹2,500 crore. The facility is intended to connect India more efficiently with Southeast Asia, West Asia, Europe and the United States and strengthen Navi Mumbai’s position as a major regional logistics gateway.

Mr. Vashistha is equally passionate about using air cargo to unlock economic opportunity beyond established metropolitan markets. His work around Guwahati Airport, including the launch of Amazon Air’s dedicated freighter operations, reflects his belief that efficient air-cargo connectivity can enable businesses, farmers, artisans, entrepreneurs and emerging markets in regions such as Northeast India to access wider national and international markets. His leadership combines commercial acumen, infrastructure expertise, partnership-building and a strong customer orientation, with a clear ambition to make Adani Airports’ cargo network a catalyst for faster, more resilient and globally connected supply chains and to strengthen India’s emergence as a leading aviation and logistics hub.
