Suvendu Choudhury is the Vice President Operations for FedEx in India.

Based in Mumbai, Suvendu is responsible for the business performance of FedEx in India. He brings several years of operations and leadership to his role.

He was previously the Managing Director, International Operations at FedEx Express, and played a pivotal role in managing and expanding flight and ramp operations, customs clearance and developing and mentoring talent.

Suvendu began his FedEx career as an Associate Account Executive in Sales. He led the sales teams in West and South of India as Senior Manager between 2010 to 2017, and in May 2017, was promoted as Managing Director, Sales. He played a key role in integrating the TNT India businesses with FedEx Express.

He also represents FedEx as a Board Member of Express Industry Council of India (EICI), US – India Aviation Cooperation Program (ACP) and Air Cargo Federation of India (ACFI) to advise and recommend on the growth and development of cargo and express industry in India.

Suvendu is a recipient of the prestigious FedEx Five Star Award in 2021 and 2024, the company’s highest accolade, which is presented to FedEx team members for their outstanding performance.

He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Commerce from the Symbiosis Institute of Arts and Commerce, India and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Trade from the Institute of Management Development and Research, India.
